have been away from your partner/husband/wife etc. without being 'officially' seperated?
I've been away from my husband for 11 months now. Between his job and me going to school overseas we've only been together twenty days in the past 11 months. I won't see him again until October/November. I miss him; but, and this may be weird, I miss my dog more! At least I can talk and email the hubby, but the dog is resents the phone and won't go near it and she hasn't yet learned how to type. Has anyone ever been apart this long? If so, how do you cope? I've managed to convince my hubby that I needed to see PJ for the sake of my mental health - so I'm going to DC and VA Beach!

I couldn't do it!! You are a strong gal...My husband will go overnight or maybe two nights for business and I go nuts without him!!! :(
"What a stupid lamb."
"What a sick, masochistic lion."
I've only been away from my husband for 2.5 weeks. When my brother fell ill, and was in critical condition, I flew home to be with my family, but my husband couldn't be there with me. It was extremely hard to go through it without him, but he had to keep things together here at home for us.
Well the longest we've been apart prior to this was seven and a half months, but this is definately harder.
i say, if it works for you...then it's a-ok. i am sure when you DO get back together, that'll be one HELLUVA reunion! be sure to stretch beforehand.
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
Just as long as you're not listening to Alan Robson's Nightowls on Newcastle Metro Radio, of an evening, you'll survive. When I lived in your neck of the woods, he had a strange, cult following. And this was the early nineties!
Definately, the leg cramps are a bitch! Puts a damper on the fun when your writhing in pain and he's thinking your just having a great time. lol
Btw were having our fifteenth aniversary on June 9th, the day before yours I think.
I don't listen to the radio here. Got my iPod and numerous CDs and PJ boots. Life is good!
Very wise!
