That feeling when something touches or stirs you so much, your hairs stand up, the jaw feels cold. What is this?
Is there a scientific explanation for this phenomenon?

    honestly, i think the scientific explanation would be a rush of chemicals in your body - adrenaline or something like that.
    No need to be void, or save up on life...

    Okay, if that is the case. Why? It is completely subjective.

    i really have no idea. :D i just think that scientifically that would be the explanation. i personally think it's a mixture of the chemicals in your body and a spiritual thing - like a feeling in your soul/spirit or weird vibes from an outside source and then that triggers a reaction in your body....

    or it could just all be physical and you process it so fast in your brain which causes a physical reaction in your body so fast you almost don't know where it came from.

    who knows? that's just my take on it.

    That's what I believe. It's just such a strange experience, a great one though.
