i had goosebumps during the show when they played this. its very inspiring...or something. I almost cried tears of happiness. I swear haha.
a week before the show i went to the emergency room for dehydration cause i couldnt keep anything down. the entire next week i was in fear of getting sick again and having to check myself back in. i go to the pearl jam show, and i hear down and the "won't let the light escape from me, wont let the darkness swallow me" line just lifted my spirits.
I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.
