    Really, white? I have heard of such toothpaste existing, but never for myself...
    Mine is always blue. Is there some conspiracy being committed against me :confused:

    I remember being taught in a materials class why toothpaste/laundry detergent and other products are blue... something about white fading

    aquafresh is greenish, white, and red
    colgate whitening paste is white
    colgate whitening gel is blue....

    but it's not all blue ;) you're just not buying the right kind....doesn't aquafresh have some weird citrus blast stuff that's orange and white?

    oh, and there's also the old barbie toothpaste that's pink! :D

    ooo i used to have this ghostbusters slimer toothpaste when i was a kid that was gooey green and tasted delicious! im surprised i didnt die of flouride poisoning :D

    so yes... there are many different colors of toothpaste... ive also seen purple... and all the ones already mentioned

    I got black toothpaste from lush once... it actually seemed to work ok... but it was just too weird.

    yeah, i can imagine that being strange....brushing your teeth and they're temporarily black!! i once used this natural mouth wash, that was green....like DARK GREEN, anyway, it turned my teeth green for hours! :eek: it's a good thing i didn't have plans to go anywhere that day. :o

    sounds about right. when i had platinum blonde hair i had to use this purple-ish shampoo to keep the blonde from getting brassy.

    plus i'd always thought blue & green were just the standard "cool minty fresh" colors for toothpaste, mouthwash & gum.

    OMG - that is one of the funniest things I've ever seen :)

    And to keep on topic - my toothpaste is a kind of an off white or tan color - Tom's of Maine cinnamint flavor (no artificial colors :))
