Finally just watched "Bobby". the movie takes place in the Ambassador hotel the day RFK was shot. im sorta obessessed with that time, the Kennedy's and MLK and how we would maybe be living in a very different world had those 3 men not been killed.

the movie has an "all star" cast. it was not at all what i thought it would be. it was not so much about Bobby himself, but more what he meant to people there that day.

when i picked it up tonight i gotta say, i was skeptical. Lindsay Lohan is in it, red flag number 1. written and directed by Emilio Estevez red flag number 2.

but i have to say, it is a fucking great movie.

i would recomend it to anyone. the characters are so well written, and so well played.

im blown away.

just thought i would share that with you all.

Did you find the euphoria similar to the Obama campaign? I found some similarities.

yes ! in fact, thats what turned me onto Obama. he reminded me of these 3 men. i'll be honest, i tried to not like Obama at first. i voted for Clinton in the primary. it had nothing to do with him though, i thought he was all hype at first and i felt some were jumping on his crotch just because he is black and it was the P.C. thing to do. then ........ idk, i just hit me.

but yeah, very similar for sure. i hope that Obama can do what i think RFK and JFK and MLK could have done had they not been killed.

    Hope is a great thing.

count me as another fan of this flick ... and another that was surprised at how good it was.
