i've been having some really strange ones as of late.

this morning woke up in a sweat and actually shaking after dreaming i was at the funeral of some girl i went out with in high school.

her and my ex wife did that fucked up dream morph thing where they became the same person.

the person had been beaten to death, and i was a suspect. and worse, in the dream i wasnt even sure if i did it or not, i could not remember.

wow!!

im sure its because i'm waiting on a really important call from my ex wife today that she was thrown into the mix , but still.

im not going to sleep tongiht! thats 4 nights in a row that i had fucked up dreams.
Peace, Love.

This isn't as scary as you might think. It wasn't your ex-girlfriend dying. She's representing a certain part of your psyche that you are no longer relying on as heavily as you once did.

I've suddenly been remembering my dreams again after a long period of not being able to recall what I had been dreaming about. Still the same twisted dreams I used to have, I'm just wonderin why all of the sudden I seem to be dreaming again. Well, I assume it never stopped, but it certainly seemed that way...

    Very interesting.

I've been having strange dreams lately. being late for things, missing flights etc. Really wierd as I'm always early for everything.

Usually it's the smaller things in dreams, like the parts that you think "oh that's not that important" that are the most telling.

  • i was having bad dreams for the past couple of weeks, finally had one early last week that woke me up, where someone had died (in the dream it was ed, and i rarely dream with the band at all). creeped me out when my friend's husband died on friday but i know it was due to a discussion i had earlier that day about someone else here at work who had died last year. lots of times dreams are just the trashcan being emptied, from whatever you were exposed to that day. but there is definitely meanings in there....i think the bad dreams were just from being stressed out. i'm doing better this week.

    drinking might help lol

I sometimes have very peculiar dreams when I'm under pressure. I wouldn't call them nightmares, because I've had those two and it's not the same, but these dreams are creepy...

The whole atmosphere is often so... kafkaesque. It's like the atmosphere in Jacob's Ladder. The people in my dreams don't morph or spin, though. They're just suspicious. They're strangers.

I just moved to a city in the Czech republic and I know if I have these dreams here they'll be so much weirder. There will be parts in it I don't understand (partly in Czech, partly in pseudo-dream-Czech), and the people here look different in my western European eyes. These differences create exquisite women but also ugly ugly people. Wouldn't want those in my already creepy dreams!

But like many people have said already, I'm sure these dreams are caused by tensions built up during the day or week.

They don't really bother me that much... Although I don't particulary enjoy it while I'm having one, I enjoy them afterwards...
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!
