    I wasn't a big fan of 28 days

so i didn't see the 28 days later

probably the same shit just later on
I just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.

onw of my favorite movies. i wouldnt even call it horror though, more of a suspense/thriller. i agree, weeks wasnt as good
they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go
  • Weeks later was good, but not brilliant like 28 Days later.. It's cool that they did a decent sequel, but they could have stopped after 28 Days.

yeah, its not even that weeks was a bad movie. i guess i was just really expecting too much.

ive watched weeks about 4 times since it came out on dvd, and i always hope i will "get it". but i just get bummed. 28 months, from what i have read will be intense.
    Peace, Love.

2 of my favourite films ever. Weeks isn't even a sequel in that sense, it's what happened to a different set of characters.

Months is going to be set in Russia apparently, and Danny Boyle may return to direct.

28 weeks just seemed like another average zombie movie

when is months supposed to come out?

I liked them both. My biggest problem was the stupidity of the kids though.

It's supposed to be released in 09.

    They're not zombies though.

    I have the same opinion.

Although I don't think the kids will be involved, but that's just a personal hunch.

  • I thought both movies were pretty intense. Days was a special movie, Weeks was more of a grind em up--and it wore me down a bit. I didn't hear about the proposed sequel.

Days is one of my favorite movies of all time. Weeks was ok... at best. And although technically not zombies, these films are certainly zombie movies. 28 Days reinvented the whole genre.

And while on the subject - Shaun of the Dead is brilliant

  • Question:

Would you rather face the infected from 28 days/weeks

    or

    Would you rather face zombies?

For me....The infected pose a tougher fight but since they can be killed by starvation, I think I'd rather face them and wait it out.

i think the infected would be way harder to fight. after you bury an axe in their head you have to worry about the splatter !! a zombie you dont have to worry about that, just watch those teeth !!!

I didn't think it was so bad. But I did like the first one better.

Also, traditionally, zombies are so slow you'd have to be a three-legged sloth to not escape. The infected are fast and scary!

Yea, plus they do that thing were they hold you down and vomit blood on you. But like I said zombies don't starve to death, but the infected do. So I figure if you could get to a very secure location with plenty of supplies, you're set. But yea, the amped up strength and speed would be a bitch to deal with.

    Days was good.
    Weeks was just ok.
  • By the way, anyone that hasn't watched or just wants to watch again can watch 28 days later on hulu.com

You're going to have to create a free account so you can watch it since it's rated "R" but that's not a big deal.

  • They're not zombies though.

i know, i just meant the plot was like a typical zombie flick. wasnt bad, just kinda too average.
