plays guitar, but sucks at guitar hero and/or rockband?

im not a great guitar player, i can hold my own. im a singer/songwriter, who has always had the pleasure of working with great guitar players to turn my songs into something good musicwise.

but man, i suck at these games!!!

my gf who can usually not find a G chord rocks on these game and kicks my ass!!!

okay, im done. just needed to vent.

    I'm in the same boat as you, dude! I've been playing guitar for 25+ years. Purchased RockBand for the family this past Xmas and I get my butt kicked by my better half. I try teaching her the real guitar, but she has trouble finding the C-chord (she can find the G-chord alright). She straight-up owns me in all aspects of RockBand (mic, drums, guitar). I'm not too bad on RockBand's guitar (I'm on hard/expert, but she's still got me). She actually kicks my butt at most video games and I've been playing video games since the old school days of Atari 2600!! At least I destroy her on real guitar!!!! Ha ha ha (she's reading this right now)!!!

    thats funny man. im 35 my gf is 24, whenever she kicks my ass on a video game i always say, "i'd kill you on frogger" lol

    rockband guitar is far easier then guitar hero, i do better on rockband but still....... damn. i do very well on the singing part of rockband, but she is still right up there with me on that too.

    oh well, she likes it, so i play. what can you do? lol
