my mom passed in 1998, i miss you mom, and love you.

all moms have a great day.

sons and daughters call or go see you mom's.

husbands with kids, do something nice for your wife.

I miss mine, thousands of miles away from me and in rathter poor health but she keeps plugging along. I hope she knows how much I appreciate her and love her She really is an amazing mum to have done it all on her own.

thank you. its all good. she was in lots of pain. couldnt breath. it was her time. she held on for about 8 years longer then the doc's gave her. : )
she was stubborn, and fighter.

hope all goes well with you mum. : )

It's OK, I always wanted tough love in life and never had that with a single mom and kinda messed things up with her. So the only parent that actually cared for me, I messed it up. Becoming more like my father, who I hardly know.

I become what i never wanted to become.

i dig ya there. im the same way kinda. ive become my father. i loved him. but he had..........issues. and im so much like him its not even funny.
i have to actually stop myself sometimes and tell myself " this is what dad would do , dont do it" lol. sucks.

its not to late though. hell, just call her and tell her happy mothers day.
at least, no matter what happens, you will feel good about that.

Yeah i think i'll can visit her with the little income i have left.

I'm not really a macho-egotistic a-hole or anything but i've always run away from my failures and troubles. So I'm just afraid she's see me as a failure. Which I said I'd never do when I'm on my own. Now I got to swallow my pride and my balls for that matter show her the true self, a miserable man going through a quarterlife crisis.

thats okay though man. as far as running form troubles and failures.....you just cant do that.. you HAVE to face them. that way you can try to prevent making the same mistakes that cause the troubles and failure.
i dont know, maybe that is not for everyone. but it has seemed to work for me. for the most part.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there!!! I too had a period of time where I did not associate with my mom. Now that we're talking again it couldn't be better. Whatever the issue, she's always your mom and most likely always cares more about you than anything in the world! Wish I was closer than 3000 miles today so I could take her out!
