    Yeah, that was terrible.

Also...I think this may be one of the worst World Series match-ups in a long time.

Mark my words...ratings for this series will be one of the lowest in years.

I don't care who wins, I just hope it turns out to be a good competitive series!
  • what gives with the stadium. The PTI guys were making fun of it too.
    "It's all happening"
  • look at all the bandwagon rays fans.. everyone in the crowd has a new tshirt on, you dont see 1 single old devil rays tshirt...everyone hopped on at the start of the playoffs

    GO PHILLIES

That's because you're brainwashed by espn playing redsox/yankees games 24/7. I for one am glad both are not in it. And i'm eager to see a great pitching match-up in hamels/kazmir as well as seeing a lot of good hitters not seen on prime time usually: utley, longoria, upton, howard, burrell, crawford, etc...

Pretty much everything about the Rays reeks of lame.
  • They just said the largest crowd in Tropicana Field's history was for a New Kids on the Block concert. Lame.

I'm glad you've so accurately described me as a baseball fan...

Anyways...rarely do I care what team wins. I neither like or hate either team.
Generally when I hate a team, like I do...for example, the Cardinals...it makes it more enjoyable to pull for the other team.

Maybe I'm still bitter about my Cubs losing.

I agree but exactly why they use them it sort of gets on your nerves if you let it.

He bores me to death, plus he has this cockiness about him, I don't know how to describe it, but I can't stand it. Ever since the 2000 playoffs I've hated him. I'm with you on McCarver, what an idiot. Plus I heard him pronounce Kazmir, cashmere earlier.

Is there one actual Rays fan o this board? Seriously.

That said, go Rays. I just want this nowhere team to win the series. It would be better Ryan Howard (who is the antithesis of fundamental baseball) and the rest of the Phillies winning.

Do what I'm doing ... turn on 1210. The radio feed is in sync with Comcast Digital cable. Listening to Harry Kalas is much better.

Always a great way to watch/listen to a game. Back when Gary Cohen was in the radio booth I used to do this for all the Mets games.

I'm lucky cause I can watch the international feed but have ended up watching fox because the crowd is miked way better and makes you feel like you're there more than the other game-if that makes sense, I'm pulling for the rays because they beat boston and are a likeable team. You can't blame these guys for being bandwagon fans I mean it's hard to cheer for a team that sucks for so long (I know I like the leafs). Glad Kazmir settled down but Cole Hammels is something else the last few weeks

another thing I've noticed is there is way less commercial time in the other feed, and not a mention of that Taco Bell bullshit which is nice

I went to the trop a few years back when my brother lived in FT. Myers. We went to see our Yankees play the Rays in April....most of the fans were Yankee fans with some Sox fans showing up to cheer against the Yanks, which I thought was pretty lame.I would never go to a game where my team wasn't playin to rout against someone.Terry Bowden was there signin autographs in the lobby.....his face was beat red, probably drunk

    That place is a dump
