What's going on where YOU live?

here in Las Vegas.....

NEWS O.J. is hitting the clubs, every night during his trial. He says he'd like to move here . I hope they force him to live here!

An ex-cop killed himself last night. It's a weird story where the same people (ex-cop included) keep turning up on homeowner association boards. These same people seem to keep funneling millions of dollars of construction defect work to one particular contractor.

Bush cancelled his Friday LV visit. Awwwwwww :(

WEATHER 95 fucking degrees today . Ah, Fall!

SPORTS No teams in this backwoods town.

ENTERTAINMENT Donnie and Marie are wowing them at the Hilton. :D

Foo Fighters kicked ass at the Hard Rock last week.

Criss Angel's new Cirque show is absolutely being ripped. I guess the "magic" is pathetic (you can see wires and holes in the stage) and he sings at the end. He's a tool, anyway :p.

....and, yeah, I'm bored.
If I had known then what I know now...

In the hippie place where I work: An article called "Flower Power" is on the front page about some dude who made sculpture of a flower pot thats in a park.

In the place here I live: An article called "Latino Cultural Review" with Folklorico dancers.

    Very breaking news...
  • Here in small town a guy recently called the cops and said there was four feet of water missing from his pond....lack of rain might have been my first thought were I presented that situation but he apparently thought it was a legal matter. I guess the thiefs toted his water off one five-gallon bucket at a time

Oh yeah, and really bad high school football too
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Reshuffle to launch Loony Party’s conference
    By Stephen Lloyd

Expect plenty of fun and frolics when Monster Raving Loony Party members descend for their annual conference later this week.

Delegates will start arriving at the Raven Hotel in Station Road on Thursday.

Their conference kicks off on Friday lunchtime with the party’s world famous cabinet reshuffle.

Party leader Alan ‘Howlin Laud’ Hope explained: “We have a bedroom cabinet that we all get into and then shuffle around.

“This has always caught our imagination, as when the major parties have a cabinet reshuffle you can have a minister for education one day who becomes minister for transport the next — when they obviously don’t know anything about the subject.

“In the same way, our minister for underwater flying could soon become the minister for extremely silly walks without knowing anything about it either.”

Mr Hope, who lives in Fleet, added: “This will be our 26th annual conference.

Home BSU game today. The whole city shuts down and goes Bronco bananas. The stadium is about a stone's throw from my office. Maybe I'll stumble over into someone's tailgating party.

    SPLAT fund gets £500 boost
    By Alicia Francis
    2/10/2008

Concerns over increased traffic if the proposed Pyestock mega-depot is allowed have prompted Yateley Town Council to give £500 to the group fighting the development.

Town councillors are worried that the planned warehouse and distribution centre between Fleet and Farnborough will generate traffic that will clog up their local roads.

They have decided to donate the money to non-political pressure group SPLAT (Stop Pyestock bLot Act Today), which is trying to prevent land at the former National Gas Turbine Establishment site being used for the depot.
