How do I start an "OFFICIAL" thread?

This cracks me up. I there a review committee for "officialdom"? I need to know, 'cuz I've always wanted to start an OFFICIAL thread :p!
If I had known then what I know now...

    You must engage in a vision quest for a thread to truly gain "official" status. That, or have the ability to type "official" with a straight face. One of those two, I think, but that may not be official.

    haha im not going to lie i started an "official" new york giants thread the other day. i just didnt want someone starting one and then having to check two different ones all season long. im such a tool because of it- i know and accept that.
