I hate those fucking LA Angels of Anahiem near Disneyland in Orange County, but I gotta say..... the Teixeira trade is gonna put them over the top! Certain East Coast teams are doomed!!

they are going to also have the luxury of resting players/pitchers down the stretch and be able to set-up their rotation for the play-offs because their division is essentially over right now, which increases their chances of success this year

Check the recent post-season records. The Angels haven't faired well against a certain AL East team. 2 post-season sweeps in a row so far. ;)

I like how the Angels barely won their only WS title and their fans think they're the big thing in the world.

It's Boston and New York, and it'll be like that for a long time baby. Get over it- and btw, nobody cares about West coast sports teams anyways. :p

Don't believe the Teixeira hype. The Angels could very well win the WS, but I think they could have done that without making any trades. Tex is supposed to be the guy to put a team over the top, but last year the Braves went something like 28-27 with him and didn't move up in the standings. Furthermore, it always seems like he gets his numbers when a game is already decided. His team will be up big and he'll hit a 3 run shot, but whenever it's close it always seems to be harmless groundouts and flyouts.

Well check the post-season records...The Angels didnt have Texiera. And cuz the Sox have won 2 recently we're supposed to think THEY"RE the big thing in this world? not this year, 'baby'

And how do you knock someone for 'barely winning the World Series'? Its not like it was 1 lucky hit or an error or something....they beat them 4 out of 7 when they won it.

Funny that you say nobody cares about West Coast sports, especially when all national game start times are geared for just that....the West Coast.

I HOPE we get Boston in the ALCS, so after we win the WS, we don't have to hear any crying about how the 'Angels didn't have to play us' or any crap like that

Agreed. Down with the Red Sox/Yankee Bandwagon crap! Angels have a hell of a team this year, and when they get Boston in the ALCS they WILL win.

That was good Giants team, too. Lots of steroids; lots of pitching. Game 6 still haunts me!
