she's shorter than I expected.

She came to give a speech at Scranton High School in Pennsylvania today, and made a stop off at my family restaurant, Revello's Pizza Cafe, in Old Forge (about 6 miles from Scranton).

Anyway, I got to bartend the event while a lot of my family waited on her and her entourage. So many people showed up, people were lined up 4 deep for a few blocks as her caravan drove in from the airport.

She walked in to the place and shook hands with people for about 45-60 minutes. She sat down and had some of our famous (at least in this corner of the world) Old Forge Pizza and had to skip out to go up to Scranton.

All in all a pretty damn cool day for me and my family. Everyone (except me) got pictures taken with her. I didn't because of the massive amount of people that I didn't feel like crawling over the bar to get through. I did get a few words in with her though. :D

Haha, we hooked them up with a bunch of trays (aka pies) to take back. Supposedly she did a private greeting before her speech at the high school and kept talking about the pizza. She also mentioned it during the real speech, lol.

I didn't handle any of the money though, I do believe they were billed (no illegal campaign contributions!).

EDIT: She came with about 30 of her own traveling press and 20 Secret Service Agents. To be honest though, my favorite part of the day was around Noon when a bunch of Agents came in to give the place a look around... Talking about escape routes and shit like that.. it was pretty serious business.

In the video, when she is in the doorway, there is a smoking hot chic next to her. Looks like she is part of her group.

Ohmygawd! Your family owns a pizza shop! I LOVE PIZZA! My LOVE for PIZZA stands the test of time, much longer than the runup to an election.

That sounds like heaven. Surrounded by pizza smells all day. One day one day I'm going to make some homemade pizza! I'll have to visit there one day. ILOVEPIZZA!
