Ok , after passively trying to get the wife into PJ , They got her!

Started with her looking over my shoulder here. This after , when we drive together in my car I'm asked to turn the music (that noise-Live Mikey) down. So one day she decides to join the PIT.
About 3 weeks go by and Istart by letting her "borrow" Roo and Columbia.
Then "THE" text message. NEED MORE PJ PLEASE.

So I give her my set of studio. NO CODE was the one that landed her.

HOW FUCKING COOL IS THAT!!!!

good luck. What worked was passive. Just sorta on in the backround. And what really did it was all of you people talking about PJ and what songs/albums. She became curious.

That and hearing me laugh out loud at some of the shit you people type on AET!!!!

I'd have to agree with that!

I am really digging the PJ I am listening to right now! So I come home from class last night, walk in, and practically the first words out of my mouth are "I just heard the most amazing lyrics..." I am listening to No Code, and the song is Present Tense...what an awesome song!

I know, I'm a PJ newbie, and just discovering things you all have known about for years, but it's pretty freakin' cool!! Thanks to hubby for being patient and allowing me to see the light in my own time, and to all of you for making me feel so welcome. :D

There are all sorts of sleeping agents on the market today, or a good strong rope will usually do the trick. Or, if push comes to shove, try the ol' wine and dine romance angle. Some chicks still dig that...

Wait, what are we talking about again?

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    For the ladies out there.

I have converted my entire basement into the ultimate love nest and sexual jungle gym. Once you go down my stairs, you won't ever want to come back. Give it a try, won't you?

so what, he was just randomly there? Yes she Loves the movie. I had bought the CD when it came out , first listen almost didn't make sense.Couldn't put it into context knowing the music helped tell the story and all. After watching though it fell into place.

Lol, he'd broken his collarbone and was feeling sorry for himself. His sister's one of us ;) and I knew her quite well so she invited him along for the weekend.

What is this thread about exactly
Mickeyrat's wife (me) finally seeing the light and really enjoying Pearl Jam's music. Was never a fan before, and he never pushed it on me, even turning it down when I would complain :D Now, however, I have really started listening to and liking the music A LOT! I think he was pretty excited that he won't have to turn down/turn off the PJ on road trips to my mom's house anymore, so he started a thread about me finally becoming a fan :D

I don't know where the pics are here, but have seen lots of pics, and just never gotten the "hot" vibe off Ed...but man, what a lyricist! Would love to see them in concert. I might even wait in line for tickets...something I've never done.
