Just wondering if they do this each year in December?

    They do if the waves get big enough. 25 feet and over. They have a window, can't remember the dates off the top of my head . But if the waves get 25 foot plus in that time the event goes ahead if not its no go. They do the opening ceremony and paddle out every year then wait for the swell. The event itself has gone ahead about 7 times in about twenty years I think.
    I can't go the library anymore, everyone STINKS!!
