Anybody notice the night skies tonight for the Cresent Moon and the planets Venus and Jupiter at it's side?

Spectacular Sight Tonight With A Rare Cresent MOON

Took my daughter out to the park to take a look through our telescope and it won't be seen again till 2052 atleast in this configuration.

I DID! Until now, I couldn't figure out how those two airplanes managed to stay next to the moon my entire 45 minute drive home. :)
  • I think I'll have my tea tonight on my balcony and look at the moon for a bit:) should induce some retrospective thinking:)

believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

Yeah I saw that last night at about 9 pm. A smiley face leaning to the right. Can't wait to see your photos. :)

HA! I'm not normally excited about environmental sites, but last night I saw it while driving and thought "damn that's really pretty", then just dismissed it as me getting older and sentimental or something. That's cool that it was sort of a once to twice in a lifetime occurrence.

Yeah, that is really cool. I noticed it a little while ago but now it's much more distinct!

I saw it and immediately began thinking/singing cliche lyrics to a made-up tune called, none other than, 'December Moon'.
I love to turn you on

My daughter made the comment while freezing looking through our telescope..*Dad won't you be dead the next time this happens again in 2052* I told her yeah maybe but if I'm still around you'll be pushing me around in a wheelchair and helping me to find my urinal. :) All she could say was "Huh"
