this is why don't drink...ANYTHING...before the show. the whole day of a PJ show I watch my fluid intake. I have a whole schedule of peeing before the show starts.

I have a terrible vision impairment and this morning when I got up, I went to the water closet without my glasses and was urinating in the trash can without realizing it....my wife came in to turn the shower on and started screaming at me. SHe then threw a handful of Q Tips at me and suggested I either watch what the hell I am doing or go outside like the pugs do.

You have to be tricky and go during betterman.

there is a chair there, you dont know if this person has an illness, sick, its there for a reason, to be comfortable.

Just dont ask me to sit down.
Some people have religion I have Pearl Jam.

    no more shows

I'd rather have that than be jammed person to person like I was at the Vic with some annoying woman singing off key every lyric to Trouble and Picture in a Frame into my left ear drowning out Ed.

I had a guy near me yell 'yellow ledbetter!' about 5 songs into a show once. I guess he wanted a short set.

    I hate that guy. LOL!

I was at a show in 06 and got to talking to the chick next to me. She'd never listened to PJ before and only heard for the first time on the way up...her boyfriend put Ten on. Yeah, that 10C seat went to waste.

P.S. Jesus christ I sound like a snob. :o I'm kind of ashamed of myself right now.

  • All this talk of piss breaks and what not brings up a concern of mine with Bonnaroo around the corner....I have much difficultly lmiting my alcohol intake once I take that first sip so I fear I will be completely smashed by the time they go on that night....looks like a long day with several shows I will want to see...I surely don't want to be drunk and not remember any of its seeing as how they are the only reason I am going....

    .....sorry, kind of off topic....

.....pardon the idiot behind the curtain.....

    .....proceed.....
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    .

Once it hits your lips, it's so good ... yes, I am one of those guys.

Honest to God, this is why I don't drink the day of PJ shows. Maybe I'm a nerd. I dunno. But I don't want to miss a second.

Yes, I could live without hearing my 17th live rendition of Even Flow. But I always remember back to the early-to-mid-90s, and how tickets were so hard to come by, and how I would have probably paid $100 just to hear Even Flow live.

And I think ... you know, what if this is the last time I ever see these guys live?

I don't want to miss anything. There will be thousands of days left in my life for drinking beer. But I have no guarantees with this band.
