Which player would you choose if your team had the #1 pick?

Sidney Crosby....Pittsburgh Penguins Statistics

Alex Ovechkin....Washington Capitals Statistics

My choice would *The BIG O* Alex Ovechkin. I saw him play in in 1st year with the Caps and he would make a great fit with the Bruins. He's bigger than SC however not as fast but knows how to put the puck in the net.

We shall what he does in game 7 against the Flyers.

    if the big o ever went to the Bruins, I'd even cheer for that team.

    Tough to pick.. I'd have to go with Crosby though. I always liked watching him play and defeat my team
    I just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.

    ovechkin. i've loved him since he started in the league. better all-around than crosby in my opinion.

    you really can't wrong with either player. that being said it depends what kind of team you have. if you have a team with several guys that score a lot, take crosby because he is very good passer. if you have a team that has little goal-scoring depth, then go with ovechkin. (that's not to say ovechkin isn't a good passer).

    My bad, I never saw that thread. I've been away down in Key West, Florida having a blast for the last 4 days.

    I just really like the Big O as it seems he's getting better every year. Let's see if he can be Alex the Great in a game 7 situation.

    since Big O finally showed up last night, and if he does agian tonight, we may get to see who is better in the next round.
