Continuing my fascination with NYC (not really, just kidding) I once lived in Brooklyn and it was great fun so what's your favorite Movies made or about NYC?

Here's Mine...

1. The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3

2. A Bronx Tale

3. The Godfather I and II

4. Analyze This

5. Midnight Run

6. Saturday Night Fever

7. Shaft

8. 3 Days of the Condor

9. Taxi Driver

    Do the Right Thing and Crooklyn
    actually I'm going to have to put the Sex and the City movie on the list after seeing it

    Yes I know but it was Deniro and I flat out love the movie as it was and so I put it in there.

    Besides I wanted to see if anybody was going to make any beef about that. Good job.

    I'd say 'On the Waterfront' for sure, but it's more of a Jersey movie..on the docks of Hoboken etc..

    So I'll go with 'Gangs of New York.'

    Also, 'Frankie and Johnny' makes me think of New York City, and I'm not even sure if it took place here..

    Breakfast at Tiffany's, and there is one other old movie I can't for the life of me remember the name it was written by neil simon and had jack lemmon in it and he and his wife were staying at the waldorf astoria. It was really silly and cute.
