Men's Business Shoes and Socks

I've always wore Adidas sneakers most of my life, and I think my attire makes me look like a teen. I'm in the process of changing my lifestyle so why not start with my apparels.

I think I'm starting from the bottom up. Any good recommendations for men's business footwear?

    just go with the business shoes and socks and nothing else and i guarantee you'll be taken seriously ;)

    wear whatever is comforable and you like!
    and if that is adidas sneakers, then why not!
    i only wear businessish shoes to work, hate wearing them anywhere else!

    I go for something flexible. Nothing worse than a pair of 'heavy' black leather shoes that you hear every step and give you blister. Also no laces helps when you are in a rush in the morning :D

    Sock...I buy cheap $2 ones from the little $2 shop. That way I can lose them, throw them when they get holes or conglomerate 25 pairs under my bed
