Anyone still subscribe to these two music services? I used to in the late 90's til around 2002 or so. I used to get a bunch of CD's/DVD's for cheap, especially with the "buy three get three free" deals and such.

I believe I got Ten through No Code & Singles sdtrk from BMG.
I'm thinking of signing up again for the "pay 1 CD and get 11 free" deal :D

BMG still mails me their catalog.

haha :D not sure about CH but BMG still mails me catalogs but I usually toss it out. I'm sure they're doing mp3 now as well as physical CD's.

In college we found a postcard for something like get 10 free, buy one at half price and get 2 more free.... and you were done, nothing else to buy. We made a bunch of photocopies of it (it said you could) and sent them in with slightly different spellings of our names.

I owe most of my early CD collection to that.

  • i still have a BMG account. it sucks having to constantly remember to decline my featured selection, but it's still a good source for cheap CDs. they do a lot of "buy one, get four free" deals.

as far as i know, they don't sell MP3s.

Back in college (I'm dating myself) I ordered from them a bunch of albums on cassettes. Back in my ACDC and early RUSH days and I never paid them all cause I gather they couldn't track me down.

  • I've been a subscriber for quite a few months now. Every once in a while they have some pretty good deals.
