Well I have a deep voice. Sometimes I thought I sounded like Eddie Vedder, but that could be because I tried to at the time :D (I was more of a dork then). But Ive been told I have a soothing voice, and Ive been asked to read for things because the person tells me the love my voice.

This cracks me up. My husband and I make fun of stone's voice sometimes, definitely whenever Mankind comes on. We use our girliest high pitch voice and say, "hey guys, stop pushing... that's not cool..." That's what he said in SF a couple years ago. lol
Yeah I know our voice isn't as sexy as our good looks :p

I jealous of the people with the sexy international accents too. :)

How do you lot know what you sound like? To me, I sound like everyone else in my area but I've been told I have no accent - which of course isn't true. So... *shrugs*
The voice I hear through my ears is totally different from my answering machine or recorded videos. I always get the misperception that my voice is deep but it's not, it's just like Stone's girly voice. :(

OH and as to my voice, well a lot of the time on the phone people think I sound like a little kid, and many people say I sound younger than I am. Of course if I'm singing that's a whole different kettle of fish entirely. I guess some folk think I have an accent but cate's never mentioned it! : p

I guess I have a little accent...but those American accents ;) And then of course someone said my accent was cute :D

I like your Aussie accent... not that you have ONE, of course ;):p

Why do you keep picking on Stone? :D He's got a nice deep American accent... to me. Was he born in Seattle? His voice is very distinctive...

It's true though about Stone's and my voice.

With that said, Stone & I have alot in common as well.

I have an estuary english accent. Not quite as cockney as Lily Allen or kate Nash but occassionally I slip into it. Slight lisp, but nothing major (I had speech therapy when I was 5). I have mp3s of my radioshow, but no way am I uploading them :p

Like the voice you hear on all those fan-made bootlegs that would otherwise be A+ grade if not for the guy with the godawful voice belting out the words from the first song to the last, who just had to stand right next to the nice taper guy.

just some proof of this point, the other day when my son called after i picked up and said "hello" he said "hey, let me talk to Mom" and neither he nor my daughter live here with me. her bf that she lives with can't tell our voices apart on the phone either. i'm pretty convinced that no one on the planet can tell our voices apart
