You know you live in a daydread when....

...this happens.

I was waiting for the bus today and the bus shelter was pretty crowded.
So I sat on the bench and turned up the volume on my mp3.

Anyway 10 mins passed and I suddenly noticed the shelter was empty....I was so wrapped up in the music I hadn't even noticed the bus had been and gone....:o :(

I walk around in a bubble I think...Good job I can't drive and am only a danger to myself! :)


Anyone else ever do stupid stuff like this?
(and I know it's daydream...what can I say..it's my world :) )

    wow, that is really being gapped out. It's funny to think of what some of the other passengers thought, especially if the stop was only for 1 bus, and that was THE bus.....I would have wondered.

    i can't think of any specific examples but i've spaced out like that too so you aren't the only one! we all have days like that :)

    I have done similiar things plenty of times. I can't even count how many times I was so wrapped up listening to my iPod or reading a book that I missed my subway/train stop.

    such things already happened to me. Quite often I must say.
    But I like that... Times to forgzt the stress and only enjoy the moment, the music...

    I've done stuff like this several times... this is the reason I wait til I'm ON the bus/train to turn on the music :o:D

    I do stuff like this all the time, I just go into my owwn little world and forget about everything else.

    the other night i went to the ATM machine to deposit a check and take out some money, some lady was talking to me (I blame her!!) and I walked away with my card, receipt but NOT THE MONEY!!!! At least it was only $60. Damn! DId not realize it til late the next day which was a Saturday. I did call the bank Monday to see if anyone turned it in :rolleyes:. No one did!
