    Pear Cider is cool, mainly because it's normally really strong.

    this could well be true... and it's definitely a summer drink also. Last year my obsession was bulmers now most of the time I can't stand it. Now, I see what German or Belgian beer they have in whatever pub I'm drinking in :) if they have erdinger or leffe, excellent :) but I quite like that Paulaner stuff too.

    I thought I'd revive this thread in honour of the 4 bottles of pear cider currently sitting in my fridge :D
