What do you think of this clip?

I don't want to get too deep at this time of night but I'd be interested to see what other people think.

It's basicly two B list celebrities talking about the meaning of life. I like both of them AND can understand both points of view which makes me wonder what the rest of you think. I'm leaning slightly more towards Karls side because I think Will Self was pretty rude and condescending. He was stating things as fact and not considering other peoples point of view... but are other people's point of view wrong up against 'facts'?

(Ignore the first couple minutes because it's irrelevant to my thread). :)

    I agree with anyone that has an English accent...which is unfortunate for me...since, like they both do...so then I went with dude in the knit hat.

    because I normally think he is retarded.


    overall it made me laugh...but then I started to think...and that disturbed me...it's too lazy day for me to think!

    :rolleyes: :D Thanks. :D No, this really should be in MT, posted by someone that is better at speaking/writing than me. I guess it's a basic 'what's the meaning of life'? question, bumped up against fact and other people's point of view. :o

    meaning of life? to learn and leave in a fairly decent manner... the "decent" part is where dogma and morals come in...and we all start to disagree -because my decent isn't yours.

    well...will was a cunt. but i agree with him in that life is not about being content...its about growing. but thats all personal opinion. some poeple would RATHER just be content and thats 100% okay...to each his own. he problem i have with will is that he seemed to think he knew EVERYTHING just because his nose is stuck in a book all day. knowledge and wisdom come from experiences...everyone gains it somehow or another...some people just take different perspectives on it. when it comes to thought...imo you're cheating yourself if you dont think 100% outside the box...just to see other perspectives even though you probably go with your gut anyway.
    all these burning battlefields are now behind us, life has brought us here together to remind us, that love will rise above it all and just keep growin, life keeps flowing and every moment starts right here with us

    I can't disagree with that but then again, that's just my personal opinion, like you said.

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
