    Are you kidding? This is the worst song on the CD! Catchy chorus yes, but it doesn't mean it's a great song. The opening line just starts to kill it. "There is a MARkerrrrr...". Sorry I like all the tracks but this one. Who's with me?

    i don't care if the chorus is catchy or not. i never get over the lyrics.

    Ed puts alot more feeling to his words than people give him credit for. The one thing he does frequently on this record is create sweet melodies.

    It is amazing when someone doesnt like a song, which is perfectly normal by the way! The changes they make from speakers to measage board.

    I guess I just don't get how not only do people like it but when the CD came out, everyone wanted this to be the next single! Granted Pearl Jam usually picks singles pretty haphazardly but seriously?!

    It's heavy in some areas, mellows out with a very catchy melodic part, uses the sand as an obvious reference to the Middle East. It's intelligent and powerful. Another one of Eddie's best efforts.
