Well, with Bush going out there's definitely gonna be a change no matter what. Maybe they should rename the tour to "Vote for Anything Except Republican"

I feel some members of the band will be involved in something like this, but a full fledged PJ would be great of course :D

This might sound kinda weird... but 2004 was way more important than this upcoming election. I mean, NO MATTER who is elected, we'll be better off than the previous 7 years.

With that said, I would love to see some kind of activism tour

this is such a "moving train" thing to say but....

it will be a change in administration but not in direction

there's a buttload of evil on the republican side and at least two lame ducks on the dem side.
  • Didn't Eddie say in an interview that they regretted doing the VFC tour, and that in hindsight they'd get involved in a different way?

    Or did I imagine that?

I thought that I heard the complete opposite. If anything, it made a lot more people aware of what's out there, no matter the outcome.

I never heard that, the VFC tour was Pearl Jam's idea. I think Ed and Stone talking, and Kelly Curtis took the idea out and about looking for others that might be interested and it gathered a lot of steam and walah! Though they were quiet about it, it was in several articles.

It got more people involved, registered to vote, change isn't easy, but more change could come from this election than any election in a long time.
