Finally saw the film tonight. The Coen brothers are masters of tension and mood building. Excellent performances and photography. A couple things at the end though I think went over my head, why does Su'gar get into a car accident at the end and why was the final scene so abrubtly closed? Figured I hear the thoughts on this from some pearl jam fans.

Let me tell ya, that movie and There Will Be Blood definitely deserved the respect they received. Great movies.
I don't know which I like better..Both are terrific..

and crack you up

god I'm very, very frightening

I know what you mean. I think There Will Be Blood was a bit better though... it had a bit more depth to it. But it was basically a character study, so that makes sense.
