    I figured in high school that people would say things sometimes about people no matter what even if it were lies, so it was more fun to mess with them. Like if someone said I had sex with some guy I didn't, I finally gave up trying to prove I didn't, so I just said, "yeah, and it sucked".

    that was at least more fun.

    we were saying that if you are an arrogant asshole, then you might as well be the most arrogant asshole you can be. and in a side remark I kind of was saying that if people are going to think ill of you, you might as well be having fun while they are. Because they are going to do that either way, if that's what they want to do.
