you could say fuck them, but the series is 2-2 right now when most people predicted a sweep. and the celts got outplayed by the hawks. who would have thought?

Hawks have a crazy amount of young talent. Doc Rivers is a shit coach.Garnett is a great player, he just doesn't have that killer instinct to take over a game or a series. He defers too much.I think Celts will end up winning the series, but this exposes them down the line

Look out for the Hawks in the future, this team took a huge step forward no matter what

    I love the playoffs

Dammit, It's not suppose to be this competitive!!!

Atlanta, know your role, you're not a sports city, not basketball, not football, and maybe baseball in the 90's but not anymore. Lay down, please lay down and let a real sports city move on the next round!

    :p

j/k Good series so far, same goes with the Sixers/Pistons.
thought the West was gonna be the competitive conference but looks like the East is holding its own.

its a shock that this series is tied 2-2 but expect boston to win the next two anyway. im not a fan but i see it happening- theyre pretty dominant.

lakers knocked off denver today. boston/LA seems right this year.

I know Boston is the better but who knows on any given night, the underdog will find a way to win.

Boston actually had a 10 point led at the end of the 3rd. Joe Johnson was just unstoppable and Josh Smith hit some clutch shots at the end.

Boston's defense looked suspicious in Atlanta. Just home they turn it around.

no, shit playing shit equals 6 or 7 game series
Let's not be negative now. Thumper has spoken
  • We'll see if the refs have a clue tonight. This has been the most poorly officiated basketball I've seen all season.

I don't care for the Hawks attitude, but you have to give it up, they have played well. They could be pretty damn good for years to come if they gel like this long term.

If Joe Johnson can get to the hole whenever he wants and get 30 a night, I can see Lebron putting up 60 a night vs this Celtic defense

hard to win in atlanta - especially with cheaters working the clocks / scoreboard ... :p

seriously tho - loads of talent on that team ... they CAN beat boston but i'm guessing they don't have what it takes to win on the road ...

    NOT FUNNY!

A #1 seed team should never be force into a game 7. Detroit did they thing last night in a blow out over Philly...Boston went 0-3 in Atlanta! Real contenders WIN on the road! :(

You guys are one missing piece away from the title. Too bad it's too late in the season to make a coaching change. :p

98-100, Ray Allen's three was a BAD choice, should have drive to the rim!
Both teams weren't shooting that well...The Hawks are attack like crazy while the C's were going for jumpers and long range.

If Boston loses Game 7, they should blow that team up. They pretty much gave this team the title at the all star break. i think having nothing to play for the last few months of the regular season made this team content.
  • LONGRDLONGRD Posts: 6,036
Saw a stat fact from the game said that Boston has NEVER a game 7 after taking a 3-2 lead, 27-0 during that situations.

Hopefully history repeats itself but damn those Hawks are gutsy and busting the C's defeat apart!

Much love for the Hawks. As somebody who's seen them play about 100 times in the last 3 seasons, it's redeeming to see them making a name for themselves. If Bibby thought Boston was a bandwagon town, wait until he sees how this city is rallying around the Hawks.

regardless as to what happens in game 7, this series has let the world know two things...1. the hawks are an extremely talented young team and are going to be very good in the future, 2. everyone shouldn't have been talking like the celtics were a lock for the finals

also, im sick of these fucking celtics fans making up excuses. bad calls or watever. the worst call of the series was kg not getting suspended. i still dont get that. but i think the way some of these boston fans think is ridiculous. i still cant believe that this is going to game 7...go hawks!

I would have never guessed this would go to game 7.

even if Boston wins they're not not going to be too feared anymore. They're not as good as their record is.
