LBC Intro Last Night, What Happened???

I was pumped up for some LBC last night....what happened Ed? Guess you werent feeling it , huh? I was all ready for the opening words and then.................................fuck it , I cant remember...........then they play corduroy....oh well...maybe next show

    They did this during Animal during an 06 show in East Rutherford but they started over and did the song played the song

    No, 3 shows was all that I could afford for this tour, but that's okay, I plan on buying all of the boots so I can relive the experiences :)

    It may be me, but I do not understand. I was at the east ruth show where that happened, but they DID end up playing it in its entirety...

    that happened tho because there was problems with the equiptment not because ed forgot it

    I was especially disappointed because when he actually started singing the first verse it sounded like it was gonna be a really good rendition. I can live without it but it would've been cool to hear. I'm sure I'll get it at MSG..

    Really? He missed a chord during the intro so I knew that it was gonna be a struggle.

    That and he mumbled through the first verse...

    But i take it with a grain of salt - it's been a while - PJ wanted to try it, but it didn't work out like they wanted it to, so they went to a different song - and good for them. Why struggle with one when you can rock the fuck out of another.

    Nice attempt - maybe next time .... the only way to view it.

    It took Ed three attempts to nail Down on this tour. That was only the first strike on LBC.

    a cut off LBC is probably the best LBC i could hear. :D

    be glad that was the only song they flubbed...WPB, they flubbed the opener, Oceans, ...at one point during Inside Job, Ed looked at Mike, like "HELP ME!!" and mike didnt have anything for him....unemployable had an extra long bridge due to a missed cue by someone,,....ed sang the 2nd verse first, then repeated it the second time, during ALIVE, (although it was cool, while he was sing the 2nd part of the 1st verse incorrectly, he spotted someone in the crowd, looking eye to eye, & he points to himself & says "me?" Then points at that guy and says "you"? Then points back to himself , dissapointingly, and says, "me."
    it was a great interaction too bad it had to come by way of a flub. None the less, it was a great setlist (FUCKING FAITHFUL!!!) And to their credit, Tampa that next night was super solid. Lots of energy and it was terrific. (and granted, hard-core fans are about the only people, besides the band, that knows the guys even missed anything, at least at the WPB show.)
