Any kind- other bands', political boards, tv shows', lifestyle, etc.

I hang out at a buddhist site called e-sangha, as well as a few parenting sites, a soap opera site :o, salon.com... what about you guys? Just curious, since it would be good to find out about other interesting boards to visit.

I lurk at Sons of Sam Horn (denied posting rights), ProFantasySports forums and http://www.flamefans.com - a Liberty University sports board (I know, but I went there and there are some decent discussions from time to time).
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Wow, somebody else from the Big South here. I can understand why you frequent the basketball forum there. Not much to talk about on the LU side of things in that department. I usually stick to the Courtyard (flamefans version of AET) and Other Sports sections.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Like a couple others have mentioned, I'm a lurker at the Sons of Sam Horn. Been lurking there since for almost a decade now.

I always thought I was really into baseball until I started reading how into the Red Sox some of those posters are. Some of the statistical analysis they do on there is insane.

Kind of embarrassed to admit I go to the Rock Band board.

One other PJ board but not RM.

I used to hang out a lot at AmityMama, an attachment parenting board but after I had a special needs kid who didn't fit into the attachment parenting mold I felt judged all the time.

Also used to hang out at Mama-Drama, but then a few people who I didn't like joined so I left it.

Therushforum, but haven't been for awhile.

    A low carb board.

    And sewingmamas.

When I think my sports fandom is a bit too much, I just read SoSH and it keeps me grounded. Those guys are insanely knowledgeable (if not a bit over the top).

wow, mindi, i'd be interested to hear about your attachment parenting challenges. i've been a sorta-follower of AP since my older son was born, but it definitely presents its own problems, even if the child isn't special needs. i'm sorry to hear that you felt judged on a message board that's supposed to be supportive. that stinks! are there other parenting boards you'd recommend?

i used boards.ie from time to time (very general and absolutely huge board), but depending on the topics or sections it was full of kids & the typical immature shite u can do without).
also that and mcd (music event organiser) events or gigs cant even be discussed on the boards...fucking asshole company sued boards.ie when people started to criticise Oxegen festival on it. so when corporate influence became that invasive i stopped using it.

pjamerica is a great one for the boots..

Oh yeah, I've been a big WU fan for practically all my life. Didn't go to WU, but am still a big supporter of their athletics program. I always thought about asking you if you were a HPU fan because of your location, but it's better to know you're an LU person ;) I've got a few posts on flamefans, but not enough to count as a regular...mainly just when WU and LU play. I do know there's a guy that went to Radford who posts here, but I won't out him unless he says it's cool.....
