Why does the message pit shut down at the same time everyday ?

    it usually is down around 7:20 am too...thus why i don't even bother peeking in anymore until i am long at work, never from home.

    I wonder if they have to do something everyday though. Like a reset or something. (again with the technical lingo) The other fanclub I'm a member of, does it every day at around 9:00pm Pacific time.

    It's usually around 11pm here. And occassionally around 9am. :)

    The server that houses this message board **shouldn't** have to be reset every day. The mods/owners may in fact be resetting it, but that shouldn't be necessary.

    More likely, there are too many users accessing the message board at one time. If the board can handle x number of users at one time and x + y users sign on and start posting, the server's resources and bandwidth will become exhausted, causing the shut downs that we all have experienced.
