Coffee

I haven't been to a cafe for about eight years. The last time I went to one was because there was this artist woman I wanted to shag. Turned out she was a lesbian anyway, so that was a waste of proper pub drinking time.
I'm playing a gig in a cafe next weekend. It's not a chain, though.0 -

I like lattes from Starbucks but i'm too cheap to buy them. Besides, there's nothing better than my daily xl two cream, one sweetener from Tim Horton's.<a href="http://www.last.fm/user/Krisdababe/?chartstyle=Krisdababe"><img src="http://imagegen.last.fm/Krisdababe/recenttracks/Krisdababe.gif" border="0" /></a>

shaky monkey coffee co.
ok, its not a chain. but its right across the street from my house and right beside my 2nd job. easy commute, and quite the routine: leave house, get coffee, go to work. all within about 5 minutes!live pearl jam is best pearl jam0 -

like jerry seinfeld, I get my coffee on the outside. I've never enjoyed a cup of coffee I've made myself half as much as coffee I get out. I don't know why, but it is just not the same.
I *do* have to use my travel mug more though. I always did in grad school but I forget it a lot now. all those empty cups makes me feel really bad.0 -

That is so true. When I make coffee at home, it's usually just to wake myself up or warm myself up. When I get it out, it's for the enjoyment and the ritual and I love it so much more.0 -
I figured out how to create a shared page from my google reader of coffee feeds. It's just a test, but isn't it cool?

"Stuff White People Like"
#1 Coffee

There is no doubt that white people love coffee. Yes, it’s true that asians like iced coffee and people of all races enjoy it. But I promise you that the first person at your school to drink coffee was a white person. You could kind of tell they didn’t enjoy it, but they did it anyways until they liked it - like cigarettes.
White people all need Starbucks, Second Cup or Coffee Bean. They are also fond of saying “you do NOT want to see me before I get my morning coffee.” White guys will also call it anything but coffee: “rocket fuel,” “java,” “joe,” “black gold,” and so forth. It’s pretty garbage all around.
If you want to go for extra points - white people really love FAIR TRADE coffee, because paying the extra $2 means they are making a difference.Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?0 -
I guess it's actually Starbucks if we're talking chains...but I am forever loyal to the Byward Café here in Ottawa and Groundswell Coffeehouse in Alliston, Ontario for the best damn coffee (mochas especially!) I've ever had in my life!2003: Toronto
