Yep, it'll probably be the only time I get to write those words so I figured I better take advantage of it. Eighty-one more wins and the Buccos don't tie the Philthies for most consecutive losing seasons. Sixty-eight more wins and they're better than last season's 68-94 record. Hope springs eternal on opening day. Unfortunately for Pirates fans, the season is a helluva lot longer than that.

    Probably won't be the case in 24 hours. :( I have very fond memories of the late 70's. My grandfather used to take us to all the home games on Saturdays and Sundays. Ahhh...the good old days. :)

    Finally got that "One for the Thumb"!!! Got the "Six Pack". Now we're on a "Stairway to Seven"

    Yeah, I pretty much missed out on those. But, I do remember Francisco Cabrera and Sid Bream. It's pretty sad when that passes for my good old days. I think I'm going to drink now. That helps depression, right? :(

    hahha, well let's go bucs i suppose!! i've never been a huge follower of baseball, but always enjoyed going to games. when i was young the orioles were my team, those were the games i went to, but now that i live about an hour out of pittsburgh, the pirates have become my team by default. i actually bought tickets to several games this year, so i'm excited, even if it is a losing season! i'm excited to see them play the yankees, even if they do get their asses handed to them. oh well. it'll be good times:)
