    i've had 3 other dogs and one cat all of my own before my present pets:
    charlie/chuck - the cat
    two dogs named sinead
    one dog named phoebe - i LOVE that name, might need to reuse, haha.
    i've had a bunch of fish - all named - too many to mention, but i especially liked the name gabriel.

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Of course the absolute worst is if I had a child and called him David. Or Jim :mad:

    Someone called me Jim once. I had to explain in a cool, polite but firm voice that if they did it again, they'd spend the rest of their life speaking with a voicebox.

    I was going to name my son Ty, it seemed really cool...but what's the use in a cool name if you have a square surname? a much more mainstream choice, Matthew, was deemed more suitable :)

    For the boys, Luke and Gabe.

    For the girls, Skyler and Ella.

    Now I just need to start having kids. My wife is itching tho!

    My first baby is due at the end of December and I've always "thought" it's a boy, I've loved Evan from day one and it's not very common here in Glasgow plus his dad likes it, apparently an ultimate fighter is called that :) (we don't agree on many others and he vetoed Axl) if it's a girl, I will refer back to this thread as I've read some lovely names

    I knew a Glaswegian called Evan once.

    So just don't think he'll be entirely unique ;)

    I have a dilemma. I have so many ridiculous names I want to call my kids but I'd also like them to have at least one gaelic middle name or something. Will it border or child abuse if I give my firstborn child several middle names of either classic literary or gaelic origin? :D

    4 or five, yep, that will be abusive.....so, you only have one option, shorten the name list to 8 or 10 and have 4 or 5 kids and devide the names among them....;)

    If he has a sister, I will name her Phoebe.
    Phoebe was Holden's sister in the book...blah, blah, gimme another drink.

    I have a friend..she has a boy named Charlie.
    She just had a baby girl...named her Lucy.
