The morning to end all mornings!!

I awoke nearly 3 hours late for work this morning, my housemates had decided I obviously needed that time in bed and left me.

I got up and proceeded to slip on the painted stairs (who REALLY paints stairs AND polishes them?! my housemate thats who... :rolleyes: ) and bruise my bum.

I then had the wonderful discovery that my housemates had changed the cats food the night before... she'd had an explosive case of diarrhoea... She's white and long haired. It was all over her and the house. I spent an hour chasing her round to A) stop her getting it all over the rather expensive soft furnishings and clean her and the trail she'd left. I got through half a bottle of Dettol antibacterial spray. I had to do everything to get her clean and, only after making her into the vision of a drowned rat by dunking her in the sink, did she run off thinking the nasty lodger had a vendetta against her and her rear end.

I finally managed to grab a quick shower and leave to go to work. I had left my umbrella at work last week and it was HAMMERING it down, hail stones that sting and everything. I was only wearing baggy jeans and a hoodie. oh and for anyone who ever wondered... No, Converse trainers weren't made with the British weather in mind.

I arrived at work at 10:27... I was supposed to be there at 06:30.

I am currently sat at work soaked to my pants....

but still smiling :cool:

I couldn't help but laugh when ya told me about your morning... what a start to the day :eek: although we've got that weather right now... severe gale warnings... I'm currently looking at SNOW and a bird trying to fly but getting blown all over the place

holy fuck... I've never seen wind like this... it's pretty scary and I don't think I should be sitting so close to the window cos I can see a tree or lamppost or something coming flying through any minute now :eek:

It stopped a couple of minutes after that... it was weird cos it just came from nowhere too I felt like I was in Kansas for a few minutes.

That happened to me! it stopped after afew mintues... ie, when I got on the feckin bus!!!

Ahhh,cats, you gotta love them or hate them.I got a giggle out of you chasing the cat all over,but at lest you got him/her and still got to work (and managed to take a shower).
