Here's a pic of my new black Labrador puppy, sleeping at my feet next to the PC. She's 7 weeks old, about 16" long and called Lulu, she has teeth like a great white shark and could shit for England at the next Olympics.
Already got a 4 year old lab bitch and I thought it was about time we got her playmate. So far, they seem to be getting on really well. I was a little concerned as to how the 2 might get along, anyone experienced any problems along those lines? Any help would be appreciated.

haha! Could shit for England! I love it! That's exactly what they're like too when they're new and unfamiliar. You should join the doggie thread. All the doggie folks are there with their pups. I'm sure they'd love to meet Lulu.
My dog Lukin was adopted back in August last year and already at least 18 months old when we got him. He's been odd around other dogs to say the least. Whining and wanting to sniff them and being silly so I just make sure and get him with other dogs as much as possible, including my Aunt's dog a little malteser/terrier creature and so far so good they're doing ok. I never leave them unattended together because Lukin has a tendency to try to round Muffy up. He's a sheep dog, she looks like a sheep, yeah, I get it! He's just a little big and I don't want him to hurt her inadvertantly. I supervise them playing and when they're good they both get little bits of kibble or something little as treats. I praise the good behaviour, so when they're playing nice together there's pats and treats and when they're not playing so nice they get time out on their mats and a stern NO!
I guess that's the only advice I can offer is keep an eye on them even if they are doing ok together for the time being.

Congrats on your new doggie.
I mean just look at that little belly... SO cute!!
ADORABLE!
i love puppies...and i love lab puppies! GREAT dogs ~ congrats and enjoy!
in rgeards to your Q, i've had 2 very different scenarios with bringing a new dog into the house. the first was disastrous and tragic, the second happy and content. IF your dogs are already getting along fairly well, i'd not worry...the hard part is done. 'issues' may arise now and again, but overall, it is best to let them work them out. IF it ever gets out of hand, absolutely get involved, but more often than not...they work out their own problems beautifully. just be ure the bigger dog isn't too rough, and don't allow the puppy to abuse the older dog either. as i said tho, if already they get on well, seems a perfect scenario for them BOTH to have company, a playmate...and will simply add JOY to your family!
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
hehehe...shit for the olympics
good lookin pup ya got there
AWWWWW you are so lucky!! That is the cutest thing EVER!!!! Labs are great. Growing up, I had a golden lab. And then as a teenager I had a black lab. She was my baby girl!! She passed away this past December and I miss her soooooooo much!!!! :( :(
So give your puppy an extra hug for me!!!
(Sorry didn't really help you with your question, but I just had to say how cute your baby girl is!!)
