well, i guess i'm looking for a new hobby, and so i thought about taking acting classes or attent some workshop. i've never done any acting before, and i have no idea if i have any talent at all, but i think it would be really interesting, and maybe even have a nice side affect. i'm a pretty introverted person and because of that i often feel unrelaxed when i'm around people. so i thought acting would maybe have some "psychotherapic" side affect, and be a great art and expression form.

who here is an actor? professional or amateur.
what do you like about acting?
what's your opinions, experiences, thoughts?

I went to a couple of classes in college before. It was fun, but I'm really more of a behind the camera kinda guy so I didn't keep it up for very long. It does help with making you more comfortable in front of people though. I say go for it!

  • i got my degree in theatre arts. i would reccomend it for anyone, even just to take a beginning class. it helps you improve your memory, your public speaking, and confidence. not to mention its FUN as hell to pretend to be someone else! just do it! let us know how it goes.
