I have TJ and Welker on my team as well. My first time trying out FF as well.

Might want to drop the second kicker and add a tailback in the reserve, one kicker is good enough.

 How did you managed to grab Vikings' D for your bench? They and Chargers were the first two defensive picks in my league!

Drop Reed from your bench and pick up another RB or WR. No need to carry an extra kicker, when Dallas goes on bye, just pick up any available kicker for the one week.
    Starting team looks quite solid.

and he's going to play...just like Kellen Winslow played through the same injury last year.

not worried at all. anyway, that's one of the reasons you draft 4 WRs.

Yeah, but your only stud receiver is Andre Johnson. Those other 3 are nothing special really. Housh is gonna get the majority of passes in Cinci, Coles is old, and Hardy is unproven. And Winslow is built like a beast compared to Chad.

I can't wait for my draft party this weekend. We go all out - draft on the pool deck with the Phils on the flat screen, beermeister on deck, and we're roasting a pig. Then we've got a game of drinking...er, I mean a game of golf the next day....Sweet.

    sounds fun.

Yeah, the last two year's it's been an absolute shit show by about 7 o'clock. I just hope we make our tee time because I know there will be multiple forms of gambling going on until the wee hours of the morning.

Also, just curious, how much everyone else's leagues are to play? Our's is 12 teams of $100 each and champion in the playoffs gets $700, runner-up gets $200, $100 to top overall points, and $50/week to the top team in points for the final 4 weeks - this keeps a lot of the bottom dwelling teams interested in the final weeks instead of just giving up.

I don't like Taylor as your RB2, but your team is strong enough at the other positions to make up for it.

I would drop your second K and add some RB depth.

    Good luck!
    8/22/98 - Toronto
    8/26/98 - Cleveland
    10/7/00 - Detroit

i don't need more than 1 stud WR. for two seasons Housh has put up bigger and better numbers than Chad anyway...Coles is not old and he actually has someone to get him the ball this year...Hardy could be a sleeper. you take chances.

anyway, i have two good RBs...well, one great and one good...good enough for me. LT won it for me last year, here's to a repeat!

Solid at QB and RB1, and if Housh and Marvin can stay healthy, youre pretty good at WR too. Defenses are solid. Id drop your 2nd kicker though, and go grab some RB depth if at all possible. Very thin there, and no need to carry 2 kickers..... on any team.

  • 3 points for 50 yards, running or receiving, 6 points per TD. 2 pts for every 100 passing yards. typical kicking and def points. 4th pick in draft. 12 team league. Start 2 RB and 3 WR each week

    1. Steven jackson
    2. Marshawn Lynch
    3. TJ Houshman......
    4. Roethlisberger
    5. Lee Evans
    6. Anthony Gonzalez

    9. Vincent Jackson

    13. Nate Kaeding
    14. Lamont Jordan
    15. Jerry Porter
    16. Shaun Alexander
    17. Tim Hightower

I took some gambles on RB's and WR's, young, old and unemployed. My worst pick was probably lee Evans. I was sitting on Greg jennings, but the guy right in front of me took him, and that sent me into a tailspin, and I made a panic pick.

probably. with nothing but scraps left, it seemd like a worth gamble. I'll probably end up cutting himm in a few weeks.
  • I heard on the radio today that Alexander may end up with the Bengals, after they cut Rudi Johnson. Chris perry has never ben able to stay healthy, they want someone behind him with some experience. Not saying he'll rush 1800 yards or 27 TD's, or anything even near that, but my gamble just might pay off. Now I have to look at free agent Tight Ends, with Scheffler splitting time and catches
