who thinks the NBA playoffs are too long. i like wathcin my celts but these playoffs just drag on and on.
it should be 5-5-7-7.

    too may days between games - the NHL is usually one day one, one day off - the NBA for tv takes forever.

    I liked the old 5-7-7-7 match up because there's a better chance of an upset in the first round.

    During the first playoff that they extended it to 7-7-7-7, Tracy McGrady's Orlando Magic actually had a 3-1 series lead over Detroit but had to win their fourth game to advance...Otherwise, he wouldn't get all the criticisms of not making out of the first round.

    Yes I agree, the thing is they should realized that it's the league's fans they should be going after NOT the casual TV sports fans.

    Last night, only had the Pistons vs. Sixers game on TV and it was a blow out!!!...They could have had the Jazz-Rockets game played right after that because of the timezone, but that Utah-Houston is taking a three night off for Friday's night triple header. That's why David Stern sucks!

    That's why NHL playoffs are more talked about between hardcore fans.
