I was out last night, and at this pub they have a burger van at the exit. My mates and I all got one and I wanted to get a water. The burger was $6.50 & then "with the water that will be $11.50' "whaaaat? $5 for a water?(normally $2)" It wasn't even a top of the line water. A pint of beer was cheaper, and so was soft drink.
Highway robbery. Should of just got another beer.

yeah I'd never pay for water unless it was a 1.00
5 is just stupidI just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.0 -
That's why I invested in a Nalgene bottle. Where I go, it goes. (For the most part anyway). I can't justify buying bottled water anymore. Plus the garbage it creates. Of course, there are obvious occasions where I don't have it on me and I do buy h20, but I pretty much carry it with my all the time. Well worth the $10.
But what a rip off!
Oh, and the Nalgene is the perfect cover for mixed drinks when the occasion pops up! We've picnic-ed with all sots of concotions in our Nalgenes!"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. "

Dude, when you're out and there's a burger van waiting for drunk people, expect to get ripped off.0

That's when you quietly order the water....ask to speak to the owner...then start smashing him about the head with it, because that's what he's doing to his customers...Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.
