I went to an awesome wedding yesterday. It was my cousin's and it was just a great day. The bride arrived in a horse and carriage, all the brides maids arrived in Chevy's which was so cool, one each.

Then we rock up to the venue, when the bridal party arrived there was a 4 piece jazz band playing some great music (the guy on the saxophone was a dead look alike for peter from family guy) for when they introduced them, music varied from Eye of the tiger, play that funky music, blister in the sun, then when the bride and groom walked in they let off fire works.

More fireworks later, a 4 course meal, heaps and heaps of grog. I mixed so many drinks and that explains my spew at 4am this morning. I had 9 different types of drinks, all multiple times I lost count over 20.

The speeches were great and to see the love in their eyes and the way they spoke about each other was so nice.

I almost caught the garter. I should of made an effort considering the way my love life is going... I need all the help I can get....

And then I danced the night away with my Mum. Which just tells you how drunk I was, but it was fun.

Love truly is an amazing thing

Thought I would share what I thought was the perfect day....

"I Know It's already been sung, can't be said enough, Love is all you need... All you need is Love, Love, Love, Love"

I haven't got a clue how much it was. My Aunt (Groom's mother) owns the wedding reception place. So while it was a very extravagant wedding, it would not have been as expensive as it sounds. Though my cousin did marry an Italian lady, so there were 170 people there, about 140 would of been from her side. It was a great night though.

  • Great now you can look forward to them blowing all that money on a union that has a 50% chance to end in divorce.
    one foot in the door
the other foot in the gutter
    sweet smell that they adore
    I think I'd rather smother

    "What a stupid lamb."
    "What a sick, masochistic lion."
  • Sounds good.

I actually went to a wedding last Saturday. Not the most frequent thing to do, first one I've attended in ... years, I think. It was pretty nice. I had a excellent time meeting my future in-laws and partying. The funny part was the extremely long service had lots of funny moments: Preacher f-ing up, and the wedding singer was so terrible that it was hard not to laugh. I was squeezing my fiance's hand. I was able to maintain till I saw her mom and brother cracking up. I laughed but kept it quiet. I sure alot of other people did too. It was a small church, it would have been very embarassing, lol.
bombs, dropping down, please forgive our hometown

Well the one bad thing about the wedding was I thought the priest was a prick (oh no, im going to hell...) But I went up for communion and there was a guy just before me, and the priest ran after him (only about 3m) because he didn't put it in his mouth straight away. He made sure that he ate it there. I tried hard not to laugh.

    Everything was fantastic.
