Two strange things about my grandfather's death

These are two strange things about the death of a great man.

It was a back in 2000, when grandad died on the 28th of September. The 28th of September also saw the death of my other grand father 20 years earlier. The 28th of September was also the date that my great grand father died, and the 28th of September was also the date that my great-uncle died.

Every year when the 28th of September comes around I shit myself.

Also on the 28th of September 2000, my cousin was holidaying in Nepal. hundreds of kilometres from any civilised town. My Grandfather's death was quite sudden and my Aunt an Uncle were unable to get in contact with my cousin.

On the night of the 28th, my cousin was sleeping in a tent, and Grandad appeared to her in a dream and he said "It is alright now, I have moved on, but everything will be okay, tell Nana I love her."

My cousin then woke up, and with her boyfriend had to trek for hours to find a phone so she could confirm what she was dreading.
