The time I had a crazy Russian stalking my family

Ok I just remembered this and I thought I would share.
Basically my Dad is pretty senior in probation and parole. One of his staff had a client who was in jail and got bashed. This client was this crazy Russian who had been in The Russian army and was in jail for a very very serious and violent crime. When he got out of jail, he demanded compensation which he was not entitled to, part of the reason was that he didn't 'dob' the people who bashed him up in(understandable in jail, if he did. he would of been killed)
As my Dad was the first senior person he saw, he became fixated on him, and on his officer. He started threatening my Dad saying he would decapitate him kill his family (fuck dude, that's me!! ) and blow his office up. This wasn't new to my father, he had received threats plenty of times before, but as you will soon find out, it became serious later on.
It became more serious when numerous witnesses had seen him at the coffee shop across the way from my Dad's office for hours on end, days in a row. This was enough for my Dad and he along with this man's officer and police issued him with a notice for him to appear in court over stalking charges and threats.
Now for the 30 odd years Dad has been in this field, we have always had a private number (meaning not listed in the phone book) so crazy people couldn't easily find where we lived. On the notice for him to appear in court, the police woman in charge of the case neglected to erase our home address meaning this crazy fuck knew where we lived.
Dad came home early that night, I knew there was something wrong as he went straight to the phone and he looked very distressed. He soon told us what had transpired and I came close to shitting myself. My Dad never got scared. NEVER, but this was different, he knew what this man was capable of and we over heard him saying on the phone "I'm not scared for me, I'm scared for my family"
Mum came her, and Dad and I met her at the car with a cricket bat in hand and a crow bar just in case.
That night we had a meeting with a very senior policeman, he was head of our region and he told us about him, told us what we should be doing, never to go home the same way twice in a row etc. He also said all the police in the region will be alerted to the case and all we had to do was mention our names to a cop and they would be right over. (surprisingly a few months later a cop had asked for my name for some unrelated incident and he said "are you the one who's father is in P&P?")
That night, we had the government pay for a security guard to stay at our place in the driveway and regular police patrols in our area. It was so scary
Not to mention, the government also paid for trees to get the chop in our front yard, sensor lights all over the place, security doors, security cameras and metal bars on the front windows of the house) and a security gate put up obviously all security measures in case something happened.
Everything changed for us. Locking doors all the time, locking gates, it really effected the way we lived. This was ongoing for quite a while. Scary but unfortunately necessary
The dude disappeared for a while, which made it even scarier. But thankfully nothing happened, and last time I heard, this crazy Russian had been arrested and entered under the mental health act, and is getting the appropriate mental treatment (I hope)
This is a long post, but I thought I would share.

I was thinking more that I hope no Pearl jam fans have been clients of my Dad.
But if he did get inot the house and he was a pj fan, he would see 3 pj posters on the wall(soon to be 4) and pj cds coming out my arse and all the dvds.
But I do have to Nickleback Cds so that might make him even angrier

Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
Chicago 07? And love
What a different life
Had I not found this love with you
hmmm it's best you throw out the nickelback just to be safe
so about them being a pearl jam fan.. i was thinking more along the lines of... i hope they don't frequent AET
jokes aside.. hope you and your family stay safe
Oh yeah I gathered that, but thats what would happen if he were to enter my place and be a PJ fan.
Oh and I refuse to listen to nickleback for about 2-3yrs now. I wouldnt even have a clue how any of their recent songs go because I change the radio station straight away.

I am glad you posted this because so many people live in a sheltered world.
They think this type of thing only happens in movies. The blind ones are the ones who end up being the victims usually.
I am glad you and yours ar all okay.
