I think the one on the Gold coast is good, though they will be competing with the titans and the new soccer club the ghalaxy, But the new one in western Sydney will struggle big time.

Anyone who likes afl in sydney would presumaly go for the Swans. If you had one ounce of loyalty, why would you drop the swans for a new sydney based team?

I think the AFL are kicking themselves that they didn't move into the gold coast earlier now that the titans are established and the a-league team look to be moving in soon. I'm glad that North Melbourne rejected the AFL's offer and even bought a membership this year even though I don't actually plan on going to any matches. You're probably right about the team in West Sydney failing. Surely they should put a team down in either Hobart or Launceston before Sydney get a second team .
I only lied because it was the easiest way to get what I wanted.

exactly what i was thinking. Tasmania, even though we try to disown them, surely a team there would be successful

I also think if they have too many teams the standard could possibly drop a little. Just think that there will be 90 or so more duds running around on AFL lists...
