I found this list.
Pretty amusing and interesting.

I used to love using the card catalog at the library. :(

    AS 400. LOL.

I know of a few large, successful companies for whom I used to work and who I know to still be using that program.

    UPS
    Cox Cable

Are just a couple of them.

I was taught wood graining and marbling...thing is these days, wood and even marble have become more affordable than paying a doofus to make something look like it.
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

The thing is....how do you still have one that works??? Must take really good care of it or got it on Freecycle.
Nothing like kickin it old skool, I guess. :p

Letting your fingers do the walking. :p They really should not be printing the yellow pages in this day and age...what a waste. People without computers can go to the local library and we can save energy and ink.

They still sell vcr/dvd combos. And I was thinking that about the yellow pages. Even white pages. But not everyone has a computer.

We didn't have punch cards, we had dinner tickets. I hated school dinners though, apart from junior school...luncheon meat, mash and beans, with chocolate cake and pink custard :D mmmmm

I think about doing it alot. :)
Popping popcorn in a pot on the stove, that is.

I miss being able to slam the phone down on someone. Not that I am ever mad enough to do that...but if the opportunity arose, it would help. :o

That's the best! I still do that! I'll admit, I use the microwave for popcorn more just to avoid consuming all the oil, but...popcorn from the stove is the best!!!

I have evidence of how much I love to slam doors in the spare room. :o
Except my particular style is to slam it back into the wall behind it. :p

Oh, and punching or kicking closet doors in de rigueur around my house. Oh and filing cabinets. :o

it funny we still call it "dialing" the phone yet rotary phones haven't been used in like 20 years

and instead of slamming the phone down, i just press end and throw it....usually on the couch.....cell phone can be pricey....:p

I am the kicker, not the puncher. :o
My brother taught me to throw a punch with my thumb enclosed in my fingers. I would have alot of broken thumbs if I ever had the nerve to throw a punch. :o

:D Well there's evidence all over of my door slamming skills. It's so cathartic! :D And having a prefab concrete house pretty much saves the walls from any of my little tantys. :o

The filing cabinet on the other hand is a goddam sturdy f*%ker so I don't think I'll be taking that on anytime soon. I've pretty much killed the closet by over filling and I'm so used to jollying along it's got a free pass. :D

My granny always said the best way to work off some aggression was to go out and chop some wood. Now there's an obsolete skill for ya! :D

Your bro was just making sure you lost any fights in the house. :p

I've punched more walls than I care to admit... bleeding knuckles make me realise that your kicking technique may be smarter. :o

We definitely should bring back chopping wood. Not that I would do it but I would stack it.
I remember when a girlfriend told me her husband was doing very cruel things to her. We had just had firewood delivered that day. I was so mad I went outside when I got home and was drunkenly flinging wood all around the yard, towards the woodpile.

I would say hand washing the dishes, but I know someone that doesn't have a dishwasher!
