    Yeah I got an email about this book...It sounds good. I will probably pick it up. I have too many books going now.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

    I don't take it personally STB.
    But comparing the 2 is a little ridiculous.
    I am a huge fan of his work and look forward to reading the new book.
    Also, it is a bigger story than just "Oh he lied, he sucks and should be persecuted for the rest of his life".

    who cares if the man lied? he is a writer people. its not like when he lied people were killed. get over it. :p
    anyhoo my gripe, if you can all it that, with frey's million little pieces was that it was relentless. twas like being hit over the head without pause. and i wasnt all that thrilled with the book.
    however i am interested in his writing style, much in the same way i am a fan of bret easton ellis. in the bookshop this morning i flicked through bright shiny morning and decided that i would read it.

    If he DIDN'T lie he wouldn't have this many fans. ;)

    Seriously, how many first time novelist get this much publicity? Not many. He scammed his way to the top.

    It was listed as a memoir...if it was placed in the regular fiction section, it'll take a few years to get notice.

    I didn't really care for his work but to each their own :) I agree though that one lie does not brand one for life.

    I thought his first book was awesome. I didn't buy it because I was expecting it to be the absolute truth. I take those things with a grain of salt. His type of writing is totally my style though. I go through books like that in a day or 2.
