Ok, I just saw someone who has more than 15.000 post and is Cropduster....that is insane!!

Are there posters on board that have even more posts than that?
And who would be the posters that has been actively a member on this board for the longest time?

Good-for-nothing questions, but hee it aint the AET for nuttin :D

I think this is the 3rd PJ Message Pit or equivalant. I started posting in 1999, and I know many many people that have been posting longer. Each new site, the posts started over, and I think this site's database has been cleaned up on at least one occasion, which meant we lost some of our posts.

It is kind of crazy that people are above 25k in posts, not sure how I broke 6k, lol.
"Music, for me, was fucking heroin." eV (nothing Ed has said is more true for me personally than this quote)

IMHO, there seems to be a bit of "message pit tenure" snobbery in this forum. Not by everyone (by any means!) but, definitely, by a few. I made an innocent mistake, early in my posting experience (3 months ago :p) and was absolutely lambasted for it. One kind soul came to my defense, saying "if you had 1000 posts, no one would have said shit." True, I think. So, yeah, these two banned people are no doubt good at heart but I'd rather not base that opinion on their huge numbers. Know what I'm saying?

P.S. With some stuff I see in the Moving Train, I can't even imagine it's possible to be banned!

P.P.S. I'm gonna be sorry for angering the Gods, aren't I?
nah i know what youre saying... definitely true in some cases... i didnt mean it seriously... just seems like some exceptions could be made for those that have proven they truly have no life outside of here :p ...

and i like to stay clear of moving train... unless its to post a light hearted joke to end a fight... theres no reason to get that fired up about an opinionated subject on a message board... some ignorant people for sure...

all that said... the post # thing is only something i take pride in for me personally and i use it as a nostalgic thing sometimes... i dont judge anyone based on it

(this was a long post... i shouldve divided it into 3 for more posts!!!) :D

I think the longest poster on this board "hands down" is
decides2dream. Her current post count is not an accurate reflection of her overall and true post count.

    ditto

Mine are the result of my love for Pearl Jam, a boring job, and a loose I.T. dept.

it's like I don't know all of the rules, and I get concerned about some things I say, but then again I do see other people who seem to say mean things or really sexually explicit things and then nothing happens. I only know one rule and it makes sense; that no one gets too weirded out when referring to the band and gets too personal. That is a good rule but one that is a slippery slope from what I see.

I think a rule should be that when people do not agree with you, they have to be cool enough to just say, they don't agree but no bashing each other. there was one guy who got all insulted with me and cut me down really bad and then had the balls or lack of balls to say I was rude!! that is uncool. I really try hard to not be rude and if I fuck up that, I apologize.
